1968(F) Morris Minor Convertible. Tax exempt. Finished in Gloss Black with special Burgundy Recaro style leather seats piped Grey and a White soft top. This is not a car for the originality fanatic but has been sympathetically restored and upgraded to retain the period look but make the car much more practical and pleasant to own and drive in modern traffic conditions. Now fitted with a reliable 1600cc Japanese unleaded carburettor engine with 5 speed gearbox. Uprated radiator with twin electric fans, uprated front disc brakes with brake servo, modern face-off Kenwood CD stereo. The car started life by chassis number as a Saloon but was completely transformed using a genuine 1957/8 Convertible bodyshell and is correctly described in the registration document as a Convertible. Extensively restored underneath with every brake and suspension component replaced including polyurethane bushes. The underneath of the car is in show condition, bumpers rechromed, superb paintwork and very nice original interior and face-off Kenwood CD stereo. Very high quality car throughout and fitted with very nice spoked polished Challenger alloy wheels almost identical to the factory original wheels, Lumenition ignition and SS exhaust system. History.
